Shooting the Match

When it’s your turn:

• Be ready and standing by the start position and get your head in the game.

• The RO will call your name and confirm that the correct competitor is present.

• The next command is "Range is hot", which serves as the warning to confirm that everyone's eye and ear protection is in place.

• The RO will then proceed with a standardized set of commands.  Click here to review the commands.

• At the beep, execute your stage plan

• The RO will ensure your gun is cleared and safe afterward.

• After you have shot the course of fire, you may walk with the RO through the stage and confirm accurate scoring calls, which are entered into the tablet by the scoring RO.

• When all scoring is complete, you will confirm and approve the time and final score (time + points down + penalties) with the scoring RO - speak up if something looks wrong.
