After check-in, join your squad and head to your first stage:
Listen to the Stage Briefing from the Range Officer (RO).
You’ll have a specified time to walk the stage and plan your shooting strategy.
Pay attention to start positions, target types, and penalties.
Squad members rotate roles: shooting, scoring, resetting targets. Everyone pitches in!
Air gunning is the practice of walking through a stage as you intend to shoot it while pointing your hands out as though you were shooting the stage. This IS NOT ALLOWED IN IDPA, but is allowed in USPSA and PCSL matches. Air gunning could result in a procedural penalty and add 3 seconds to your stage time in IDPA.
